01582 is on pause right now while we work out what to do with it. Im sorry to all those who have been looking forwards to it. There is some good news though, you can now goto http://www.thisisluton.com , a website where you can create your own blogging space to chat about, well what ever. All we ask is you have something to do with Beds, Herts or Bucks.
I expect that we will be hosting this blog on “This is Luton” in the not too distant future.
Theres nothing like getting out of the town now and again for a nice walk up Dunstable downs. With the warmer weather approaching if you are thinking of taking a trip, make sure you take your wallet as you will now be charged for parking your Car there.
This has allways been free, I think that places like this should be free, this is just going to encourage more people to get no excerise and play computer games.
Hello people, sadly March passed and the promised update to our home page did not happen. We are very sorry to say that we have fallen a way behind and attempts to find extra resource fell through.
We are still working on it though and we will keep posting bits of news here.

Time for a Pint..
The White House in Luton is hosting a beer festival where you can get a wide range of international beers for £1.49 a pint, from 27th March till 14th April.
Beers will include Stone California Double IPA from the USA and Yo-Ho Tokyo Black from Japan, both of which have never previously been sold in a UK pub.
For the Polish there will be Namyslow Original Plum Beer. Other beers will include : Ecaussinnes Cookie Beer from Belgium and St Georgenbrau Keller Bier from Germany.
Customers will be able to sample any three of the real ales in a special third-of-a-pint glass for the price of a pint during the festival.

Luton St Patrick’s Festival 2007
Pop down to the town centre this weekend for a host of activities to celebrate St Patricks day.
There will be a parade starting at Manor rd, ending at St Georges square. Everyone is invited, so get down and have some fun.
We’re still here! I just got back from holiday and have already got back to working on 01582. A friend also asked if she could have a blog here - I’ve bumped personal blogs closer up the road map to fufil her request.
Love your tea and coffee? Get down to the Arndale centre this Saturday and help promote Luton to fairtrade status. The Luton Fairtrade Steering Group has organised this event.
The exhibition will then move to the Library until March 8th.
We just added back our old home page from yonks ago, there are a few reasons for this. We are planning our first official release in March 2008.
